a photo a day

When i started this blog, i said i was going to try to post a photo a day for the whole month of april. But due to all kinds of circumstances, i have postponed this till may. So for the whole month of may, i will be taking a snapshot a day. I will post them all, but i can't promise i will post everyday. I will probably post a few times a week, and upload multiple photo's at a time. For some reason unknown to me, i can't get my Blackberry registered with Blogger to post via my phone. And because i'm not always near my laptop, that makes posting everyday a little difficult.
But nevermind, i won't let unruly technostuff hold me back. So here's to a good photochallenge...

easter

This easter was absolutely fabulous. Lots of sunshine, bbq, lomography. Lotta ins, lotta outs, lotta what-have-yous :)
On sunday we went for a 10k walk from 's-Hertogenbosch CS to Vught, and it was beautiful. Here are some pics of the day:

crafts and cooking

I've had three days off, and have spent them cleaning, cooking and doing crafts. (And i've spent some time on a café sidewalk, drinking white beer with lemon in the sunshine, but never mind that...)

I've made pickled vegetables: a mix and pickled cucumber. Also olive oil with basil. It looks and smells good, let's hope they'll taste good as well in a few weeks.

Only two of my handyworks i can show you, the other two are presents for two lucky ladies :) I've wanted a star and feather necklace for ages, but could never find the right one. So i just made one myself, and a single feather one as well.

One other thing i've made has to wait a little longer, it needs to be dark outside for it to be photographed. Pics will follow soon.

fake your pinhole!

Here's a great Photoshop tutorial for faking a pinhole effect. I tried this with a photo i took in Hassocks, Great Britain two years ago, and i love the result:

Of course you could always drill a tiny hole in a lenscap and start shooting, no Photoshop required.
